Formula Drift 2019 Pro Drifting Season Is Here!

The Formula Drift Pro Drifting Championship is set to kick off its 2019 season this weekend at the Historic Streets of Long Beach, CA. Defending Champion James Deane and many other drivers took place in Media Day at Long Beach yesterday, giving us an inside look at the upcoming season and some new rides and liveries.

We sent our longtime photographer, Justin Miller to attend media day at Formula Drift Long Beach for the first time for Reflections of Drift . We got the inside first look at some of the drivers Formula Drift Pro Drift cars for the season and let me say they are amazing!

The Napolean Motorsports team and Travis Reeder had the new revolutionary, all electric Chevy Camaro EL1, which is a first for the entire drifting community and we can’t wait to see what it does this season.

Fiorella makes her return in 2019 with more power!

One year after a fiery debut a Formula Drift Long Beach, Federico Sceriffo and the FFF Drifting Department Ferrari make a return with NOS and some added power to the already insane twin turbo power plant.

Chris Forsberg and the NOS energy drink 370z decided to scratch the VQ platform for a new motor setup in 2019. The team hopes that the new VR38DETT bring them back into the championship hunt!

Vaughn Gitten Jr hopes to ride into the season in a high note after a stellar performance at the Finale in Irwindale last season. The Monster Energy Ford Mustang RTR looked in Top shape ripping through the walled street course!
