Back in 2015, The Northeast Formula Drift ProAM series, US Drift used to run Wall Speedway the day after FD. This would also be the final year US Drift drivers would drift the high banked oval in New Jersey.
The day started out with miserable weather, with rain soaking the bowl style track. Coincidentally this was the first year that Club Loose ran their now famous and huge Pro Bro Down at Englishtown Raceway Park. With the draw of Formula Drift drivers drifting with the regular grassroots community the US Drift event was pretty barren spectator wise.

Katie Dryer joined me in the rain to shoot the event and I think the only other media there may have been Kevin FlimFlam Media. I will say having the entire track and media areas to ourselves was pretty darn cool!

A slow run in the wet with the track drying out finally for the tandem competition later that afternoon. The drivers put on a hell of a show with alot of great battles.

The wall claimed AJ Muss and his newly bought BMW in an eerily similar accident that previous owner Chelsea Denofa had with the same car! Luckily thanks to proper safety equipment including a HANS device AJ was able to walk away unscathed.

Miro Ovcharik in his 240sx would take the win after a great battle with now Formula Drift Pro drifter Austin Meeks in his S14 who was in one of his first ProAm competitions that day.

Third place went to the awesome Irish wheelman, Fred Keogh in his 350Z.
